One of my cats started using it immediately and a second one messed with it for a few days before she started using it too. I knew the third one would take a bit but after a couple week he has started using it too. So just one of 4 refusing to give it the time of day. As far as maintenance, way easier that previous fountains with a pump that was so hard to clean. This one is so easy to clean and maintain! A win as far as I'm concerned.

Build quality appears to be high, shipping was timely. Only con would be instead of a timer function would prefer a constant flow mode.

My bengal cat is super picky with drinking water. Before this one, she would refuse to drink from water fountains and would drink only from taps. She now goes often to Elfin water fountain. Her curiosity is spiked when the water stops and she quickly drinks water when the water comes on. It’s super funny to watch her waiting or tapping the fountain to try to turn on the water. It became kind of a game for her. I love it!

This is the first water fountain I have ever tried and I'm so pleased I found Elfin! I did a ton of research, looking for stainless steel, easy cleaning, lasting filters, and comparing cost. I almost went with a more expensive option from petlibro but reviews often mentioned leaking and motors breaking quickly. This fountain is SO easy to clean and after 4 weeks there was very little buildup or scum (WAY less than expected). There is no motor so I don't have to worry about it breaking. The filters aren't too expensive and compared to other fountains that need replacing every 2 weeks, this one went 4 weeks and worked great. My cats took a couple days to adjust to a fountain but now use is daily and seem happy. I'm thrilled they are drinking more water and it's cleaner, without me having to fill their bowl daily. I've been using it for about a month so I'm hoping it lasts a long time but right now I could recommend this fountain to anyone considering.

Im a little over one week in. The cats love this fountain and cleaning it was so simple for me. I have two more fountains to replace and when I have the money, I will be buying 2 more Elfin fountains!
