What are the differences between Elfin Fountain E1+ and E1 Lite?
The key differences are:
- Power Supply: E1+ supports both battery and plug-in modes, and E1 Lite is plug-in only.
- Dispensing Modes: E1+ offers Intelligent Mode and Timer Mode, and E1 Lite provides a Continuous Flow Mode.
- Filters: The filters for E1+ and E1 Lite are not interchangeable. E1 Lite filters cannot be used on E1+, and vice versa.
How often do I need to change the filter?
We recommend changing the filter every 3-4 weeks to ensure optimal performance and maintain the highest quality of water for your pets. Additionally, the filter life indicator on the Elfin Fountain will turn solid orange to remind you when it's time to change the filter.
How often do you recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain?
We recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain once a week. However, cleaning the Elfin Fountain is not like a chore. All you need to do is take the water tank away from the base, disassemble the parts (the water tray, the tank, the conduit, and the impeller), and rinse and scrub them to clean. It's as easy as a breath, and there's no pump to worry about!
What is the Care Kit? Is it necessary?
No, it is not a necessity for regular maintenance. The Care Kit is an optional choice for pet parents wanting the best results. For routine care, simply rinse the water conduit and the impeller during each fountain cleaning.
Why do you call Elfin Fountain a pumpless fountain?
