How often do you recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain?
We recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain once a week. However, cleaning the Elfin Fountain is not like a chore. All you need to do is take the water tank away from the base, disassemble the parts (the water tray, the tank, the conduit, and the impeller), and rinse and scrub them to clean. It's as easy as a breath, and there's no pump to worry about!
Can I use the Elfin Fountain D1 Pro while keeping it plugged in?
Yes, you can. We provide both options: wired and wireless usage for the Elfin Fountain D1 Pro. For its wired use, we also feature a downward-facing charging port design to prevent any possibility of electricity leakage.
Can I directly wash it in the dishwasher?
No, we do not recommend washing the entire Elfin Fountain D1 Pro in the dishwasher. However, the water tray is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. For the other parts, please disassemble them and wash by hand to ensure they remain in good condition.
What is the Care Kit? Is it necessary?
No, it is not a necessity for regular maintenance. The Care Kit is an optional choice for pet parents wanting the best results. For routine care, simply rinse the water conduit and the impeller during each fountain cleaning.
Why do you call Elfin Fountain a pumpless fountain?
‘Pumpless’ in the context of our fountain refers to the elimination of a conventional submerged pump, which is a common source of noise and maintenance hassle in traditional pet fountains.
