We recommend changing the filter every 3-4 weeks to ensure optimal performance and maintain the highest quality of water for your pets. Additionally, the filter life indicator on the Elfin Fountain will turn solid orange to remind you when it's time to change the filter.
How often do you recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain?
We recommend cleaning the Elfin Fountain once a week. However, cleaning the Elfin Fountain is not like a chore. All you need to do is take the water tank away from the base, disassemble the parts (the water tray, the tank, the conduit, and the impeller), and rinse and scrub them to clean. It's as easy as a breath, and there's no pump to worry about!
Can I use the Elfin Fountain for my dog?
Elfin Fountain is primarily designed for cats, with a water capacity of 2L (0.52 gallons). If you need to use it for a dog, it may be more suitable for small or medium breeds due to its size.
Can I use the Elfin Fountain while keeping it plugged in?
Yes, you can. We provide both options: wired and wireless usage for the Elfin Fountain. For its wired use, we also feature a downward-facing charging port design to prevent any possibility of electricity leakage.
Can I directly wash it in the dishwasher?
No, we do not recommend washing the entire Elfin Fountain in the dishwasher. However, the water tray is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. For the other parts, please disassemble them and wash by hand to ensure they remain in good condition.
What dispensing modes does Elfin Fountain have?
Elfin Fountain has two dispensing modes: Intelligent Mode and Timer Mode. Intelligent Mode is designed to attract pets to drink more when they pass by or have not drunk for a while. Timer Mode dispenses water at set intervals to meet regular hydration needs.
What is the Care Kit? Is it necessary?
No, it is not a necessity for regular maintenance. The Care Kit is an optional choice for pet parents wanting the best results. For routine care, simply rinse the water conduit and the impeller during each fountain cleaning.

怖がりなのでタイマーモードにしたら、やっと飲んでくれるようになり、容器の時に比べて飲む量が2倍くらいになりました。
ステンレスのトレーは細かい白いゴミなども見えるので良いと思います。
よく飲む水だからこそこだわりたい。そんな思いで購入しました。
水が置いてある場所にコンセントがないので充電式は助かりました。
水が溢れるのがビビリにゃんこには不向きかとおもったのですが、センサーではなく、時間にしたら飲むようになりました。
あえて言うならそれぞれのパーツを買い換えることができたら良いなと思います。
